Adaeze Amaram is the founder, and initial director of YHWH CHARITY. The daughter of two Nigerian parents who lived through a genocide, a survivor of domestic violence, and a single mother of four girls, Adaeze has seen firsthand, and experienced many of the world's horrors. This has all cultivated her drive to spread love to a hurting world. She is a unique lady, with a big heart, as evidenced by any conversation you might find yourself having with her.
"I used to never want to grow up. I wasn't opposed to the growing part, but I never could get with the pessimistic mindset that set in with the adults as I used to hear them shoot down or give me 'realistic' viewpoints to my big ideas to show love and compassion to help change the world. "
"Ever since I was a child, I knew that I wanted to help people in a huge earth-changing way and I never did let go of that dream. Even through college, while majoring in accounting and becoming a Certified Public Accountant around type 'A' personalities, I have always kept easing the suffering of those in the world in mind. YHWH CHARITY is becoming a realization of that dream, and I know that it will be a force to positively affect the lives of multitudes. As for the outreach and effect of this organization, the lowest bar is set at 'Red Cross' level with my sights more on 'unmatched and never seen before' global effectiveness and reach."
"My driving goal, which I will admit is high, is that there should be no one devastated by tragedies, or disasters that is unable to obtain some type of relief or aid. I am one adult who still believes that if you can dream it you can do it, and aiming high is in my blood. I believe that the right people, with the right heart will be sent to meet challenges, overcome obstacles and aid in the success of the 'love works' that YHWH CHARITY is doing. I am not afraid to put my foot forward first and attempt to 'walk on the water' for change. Besides, I believe it is worth the risk of maybe having to swim for a while."
